Teaching Executive - The Code Brainery

We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Teaching Executive to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. In this role, you will deliver hands-on instruction, help shape curriculum and lesson plans and contribute to strategic initiatives such as outreach and business development. You’ll work closely with the Director and team to execute our vision and continuously improve our programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction in coding (e.g., Python, Scratch), robotics (e.g., LEGO EV3, SPIKE Prime), AI, and general STEM subjects to students across various age groups

• Develop, refine, and co-author lesson plans and curriculum content, ensuring they are current, relevant, and aligned with academic standards

• Mentor and coach students, including preparation for technology and robotics competitions such as WRO (World Robot Olympiad) — prior experience is a bonus

• Provide clear and effective communication with students and parents about progress, achievements, and areas for growth

• Collaborate with the Director on strategic initiatives, including business development, school partnerships, and prospecting potential clients

• Assist in social media, community engagement, and marketing initiatives to promote our mission and programs

• Stay up-to-date with emerging education technology trends, tools, and pedagogical best practices

• Contribute to a flexible, team-oriented, and fast-moving work culture with agility and professionalism

• Be available to teach during weekends, in line with our program schedules and client needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Education, Psychology, or a related field

• Experience in teaching, mentoring, or curriculum development is highly valued

• Proficiency in one or more programming or STEM-related disciplines (Python, Scratch, robotics kits, AI platforms)

• Experience in coaching teams for tech/robotics competitions such as WRO is a strong advantage

• Strong command of spoken and written English; ability to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin) is a bonus

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, team collaboration, and adaptability in a dynamic environment

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset

• A genuine passion for education and technology, and desire to make an impact through teaching
