Sustainability & Community Engagement Specialist

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Sustainability & ESG Program Support:

• Assist in implementing sustainability initiatives related to energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management, and carbon footprint reduction across properties.

• Support the integration of sustainability strategies into business operations and asset management.

• Conduct research on industry’s best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory updates to enhance sustainability performance.

ESG Data Collection & Reporting

• Gather and analyze sustainability and ESG data for internal tracking and external reporting (e.g., GRI, ISSB, TCFD, CDP, DJSI).

• Support the preparation of sustainability reports, investor updates, and regulatory disclosures.

• Ensure data accuracy and alignment with corporate sustainability goals.

Community value & Community Engagement

• Develop and implement Community Value programs that align with corporate values and support local communities.

• Organize and coordinate community outreach projects, volunteering activities, and partnerships with NGOs.

• Work with internal teams and external partners to drive social impact initiatives, including education, wellness, and local economic development.

• Support the development of impact measurement frameworks to track the effectiveness of CV programs.

  Sustainable Finance & Green Building Certifications

• Assist in gathering documentation for sustainability-linked financing (e.g., green bonds, blue loans, sustainability-linked loans).

• Support the certification process for buildings (LEED, EDGE, WELL, Thai Green Building Standards).

• Research industry benchmarks for sustainable building practices and help implement certification-related projects.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

• Collaborate with internal teams, tenants, guests, and local communities to promote sustainability and social responsibility initiatives.

• Support the development of sustainability-related presentations, training materials, and awareness campaigns.

• Assist in preparing press releases, social media content, and internal communications to highlight sustainability and CSR achievements.

Climate & Risk Management Support

• Monitor climate-related risks and opportunities affecting the company’s properties.

• Assist in environmental impact assessments and risk mitigation strategies.

• Support the implementation of climate adaptation and resilience measures.

Continuous Learning & Innovation

• Stay updated on sustainability regulations, ESG reporting standards, and CSR trends.

• Identify and recommend innovative ideas, partnerships, and technologies that could enhance the company’s sustainability and social impact.

• Assist in piloting sustainability and community-driven initiatives and evaluating their effectiveness

  Admin Support

• Handle correspondences, purchase orders, and other paperwork related to Sustainabiluty and CV activities. Coordinate with internal departments such as accounting for budgeting and payment processes (Online Payment, SAP, VPN access and Docushare)

• Assist in organizing and tracking fundraising events and partnerships, ensuring adherence to company policies and goals.

• Complete monthly CSR activity reports and social media reports as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Social Development, Business, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, CSR, or community relations (real estate or hospitality experience is a plus).

• Strong analytical and data management skills, with experience in collecting, processing, and analyzing ESG and sustainability-related data.

• Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization and reporting platforms.

• Experience working with sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, ISSB, TCFD, SASB, CDP) and ESG data validation processes.

• Ability to interpret and translate data insights into actionable sustainability strategies.

• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
