Your main role is to:

  • Material Quality Assurance: Ensure materials meet specified quality standards.

  • SCAR Management: Track and expedite the closure of Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), disseminating corrective actions to relevant parties.

  • Supplier Quality Collaboration: Partner with Supplier Quality Engineering (QE) to address material quality issues and manage changes.

  • Supplier Performance Improvement: Collaborate with the Production Material Control (PMC) department to drive suppliers towards optimal incoming material quality.

  • Material Quality Issue Resolution: Investigate material quality concerns and validate the effectiveness of supplier corrective actions.

  • Stock Management Support: Coordinate with PMC to manage stock related to material quality issues.

  • SAP QM Maintenance: Maintain SAP Quality Management (QM) data, including inspection characteristics and inspection plans.

  • Supplier Audits: Conduct regular supplier audits using established audit checklists, track open issues, and drive quality system improvements.

  • Supplier Continuous Improvement: Review and monitor supplier continuous improvement plans for low-performing suppliers.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering within Die-casting or Stamping manufacturing environments.

  • Proven ability to support development teams during production release, including Design for Manufacturability (DFM) facilitation, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Process Control Plan validation.

  • Hands-on expertise in MSA, including Gage R&R studies and selecting appropriate measurement techniques and instruments.

  • Experience in evaluating supplier performance for both existing and potential new suppliers.

  • Strong auditing experience, with a solid understanding of quality management systems.

  • Knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), surface roughness, contour, and small tool equipment measurement principles.

  • Expert ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, including dimensional tolerances and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies, including 8D, Lean Manufacturing, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, DFMEA, PFMEA, Kaizen, and Poka-Yoke.

  • Working knowledge of DFM principles and new product development processes.

  • Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and VDA 6.3 quality management standards.
