Sr. Network Product Engineer - UIH Digital Business Group

As a Senior Network Product Engineer, you will design and develop network solutions such as SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, and cloud connectivity. This role involves evaluating technologies, creating product specs, supporting testing and POCs, and acting as a technical owner throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Study, design, and develop network product solutions such as Internet Leased Line, MPLS, SD-WAN, SASE, VPN, Private Network, DIA, or Cloud-based networking services.

• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies or equipment for developing new products or enhancing existing services.

• Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Network Engineering, Operations, and Business Development teams to create solution designs and product specifications.

• Define pricing structures or pricing strategies for the developed services.

• Support product testing (Lab/Testbed) and Proof of Concept (POC) in collaboration with vendors or partners.

• Prepare product documentation such as TORs, technical sheets, service workflows, and FAQs for sales and other internal teams.

• Stay updated on trends and technologies in networking, edge computing, 5G, or cloud connectivity to identify new product opportunities.

• Act as the technical product owner throughout the product lifecycle—from development and launch to service improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3–7 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Solutions, or Product Development.

• In-depth knowledge of Routing & Switching, MPLS, BGP, VPN, SD-WAN, SASE, QoS, and Network Architecture.

• Experience with equipment from Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Fortinet, or Palo Alto is a plus.

• Understanding of network service business models such as SLA, bandwidth tiers, and cost structures.

• Strong documentation and communication skills across both technical and business functions.

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIS, or NSE 4/5/7 are a plus.
