Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to oversee and enhance the performance, security, and stability of our IBM AIX, Oracle Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments, as well as our enterprise SAN storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge in Unix/Linux systems, virtualization, and enterprise storage platforms, along with strong automation capabilities using Ansible, scripting, and related tools.

Responsibilities:

• AIX Administration: Manage and maintain IBM AIX servers, including PowerVM and Virtual I/O Server (VIOS); perform performance tuning, security updates, patching, and system-level troubleshooting.

• Linux Systems Management: Support and administer Oracle Linux and RHEL systems, ensuring high availability, system optimization, and secure configurations for enterprise-grade applications.

• Enterprise Storage Operations: Handle configuration and administration of SAN storage arrays (e.g., IBM, Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage); manage LUNs, data replication, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, and Ansible to streamline routine administrative tasks and reduce operational overhead.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.

• Certifications: Preferred certifications include IBM AIX Administration, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Oracle Linux Administration, and SAN storage vendor-specific credentials.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar systems engineering or administration role with direct experience in AIX, Oracle Linux, RHEL, and enterprise SAN environments.

• Technical Competency: Solid background in Unix/Linux administration, enterprise storage systems, backup and recovery platforms (e.g., IBM Spectrum Protect, Veeam), and systems automation.
