Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, review, and refinement of curriculum materials, including course structures, syllabi, and learning resources.
- Ensure that curriculum content is rigorous, engaging, and responsive to the diverse needs of students, while also meeting accreditation requirements and educational standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external subject specialists, department heads, and curriculum coordinators to integrate interdisciplinary themes and promote holistic learning experiences.
- Lead the development and implementation of curriculum frameworks, instructional strategies, and assessment practices across all grade levels and subject areas.
- Establish clear expectations for instructional delivery, classroom management, and student engagement, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability among educators.
- Develop and implement systems for monitoring and evaluating academic programs, student learning outcomes, and teacher performance.
- Lead the accreditation process, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.
- Focus students for the developing of the curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment
- Support the creation and management of the curriculum record, providing accurate data that supports academic and professional services colleagues in the delivery of the school.
- Provide support on the curriculum management data as required, contributing to tasks that will enable student enrolments and allocation of modules.
- Develop the curriculum to be more efficient within the prescribed time.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation and manage educational materials for the assigned curriculum, demonstrating a high level of accountability.
- Cooperate with other teams and support each other.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Education or related
- Having at least 5 years of experience in teaching or academic work would be a plus.
- Expert in education curriculum pedagogy and assessment development.
- In-depth knowledge of curriculum development, instructional best practices, and assessment methodologies.
- Working knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Proficient in using Microsoft office program.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences and to adjust style accordingly.
- Self-motivated, and a self –starter but able to work as part of a team.
