Research and Development Officer (Food)

1. Product Development Management in New Business Projects

• Study consumer behavior, gather data, analyze market trends, and conduct competitor analysis.
• Develop new products such as noodles, dumpling sheets, seasonings, and processed foods. Prepare manuals to standardize recipes and ensure they are delivered to relevant departments.

2. Product Development Management for Existing Products

• Collaborate with the production and quality control teams to improve product quality.
• Develop products to increase profitability or reduce costs.
• Enhance products to add value.

3. Research and Development of New Products

• Plan product development to match competitors and establish development strategies.

4. Control of Analysis and Testing

• Oversee experiments, review/test analysis and testing results.
• Prepare product cost analysis.
• Approve and review production formulas and processes to be implemented in actual production lines.
• Verify that raw materials meet quality standards. Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure raw materials meet quality standards.
• Check the establishment of raw material standards.

5. Document Preparation in Quality Systems (GMP: ISO9001)

• Operate according to the department's KPIs.
• Prepare documents following the quality system.

6. Comply with Quality, Environmental, and Workplace Safety Policies

7. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for Food Production

8.Perform other duties as assigned
 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Agricultural Industry, Food Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in food factories or the food processing industry (preferred).
• Ability to work well under pressure.
