QS Engineer (Civil)

We are seeking a talented QS Engineer to join our team at CHEC (THAI) CO., LTD.. As a QS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the contract management of our construction projects, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery. we want you on our team!

➤ Responsibilities:

• Create and manage project budgets to keep costs under control during development

• Prepare and present financial reports and cash flow forecasts for senior management.

• Prepare cost plan and detailed studies for real construction projects.

• Monitor cost variations and identify potential budget overruns.

• Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQs), and scope of work for projects.

• Support the selection, negotiation, and finalization of contractor contracts.

• Involve the value engineering process to reduce project costs.

• Evaluate and process payments to contractors and suppliers.

• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align financial strategies with project objectives.

• Ensure compliance with project, company and legal requirements.

➤ Requirements:

• Nationality: Thailand, Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Electrical engineer, Mechanical engineer or related in engineering field.

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Municipal engineering projects or infrastructure construction projects.

• Excellent understanding of subcontract management and quantity surveying practices.

• Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques

• Good command of English.

• Competent in using Microsoft Office Program; Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
