Purchasing Specialist - Indirect Material

Location : Sathorn, Bangkok

Responsibilities:

• Supporting in providing the appropriate documentation and service in the general services and raw materials activities.

• Analyzing procurement requests verifying the proper fulfillment of technical specifications, quantities and delivery times.

• Proposing procurement strategies for the assigned categories, evaluating in particular the possibility to negotiate contracts/frame agreements with consignment list.

• Issuing RfQs for supplier selection, managing the information flow between suppliers, end users and technical department or other requesting departments.

• Receiving quotations and executing economical and technical analyses, evaluating the compatibility of offers or asking for revisions for technical and economical alignment.

• Negotiating with suppliers of goods and services in compliance with the strategies provided by the Procurement Manager.

• Drafting/preparing Spot Orders or Contracts/Frame Agreements, and submitting them for the relevant signature for the purpose of issuing them.

• Collaborating and supporting regarding specific projects in order to ensure delivery time and quality in accordance with the internal customer requirements and the total cost of ownership

Requirements:

• A Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field. Master degree preferable.

• Minimum of 5 years experiences in indirect materials and services procurement activities of MFG business the field. Experience in purchasing logistic services is a plus.

• Good command of English (both of writing & speaking)

• Advanced computer literate ( MS office, Outlook, SAP)

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 and SD Management is a plus
