Product Development Chemist (R&D) Based in IE Bangpoo

Mega Lifesciences is looking for a Product Development Chemist (R&D) to work closely with Manager – Product Development/ Director – Product Development in a fast-paced environment that will offer ample opportunity to learn and to expand your profile 

Job Summary

As a Product Development Chemist (R&D), your key tasks are as below:

• Develop dosage forms in various categories, including nutraceuticals, herbal, and food formulations, under the guidance of the Product Development Manager/Director.
• Assist the Product Development Manager/Director with their work.
• Comply with and document entries from the Quality Assurance department.
• Enter information into the NPD system for each project.
• Conduct literature searches, preformulation and formulation studies, and maintain proper documentation.
• Carry out technology transfers of new formulations from the laboratory to the mega production facility or other locations.
• Coordinate with relevant departments for new product development, including product promotion and taste evaluation discussions with the marketing team.
• Prepare product development reports, registration dossier documents, and manage the registration of technology transfer products.
• Assist the Product Development Manager/Director with regulatory queries.
• Maintain laboratory discipline.
• Assign tasks to lab assistants.
• Raise Change Controls, NCRs, and Deviations for the respective department.
• Prepare and propose updates to relevant procedures and SOPs based on current practices, and ensure their implementation.
• Handle customer complaints.
• Ensure GMP compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Food Science and Technology (Fresh graduates are welcome).
• Experience in Food, Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, or R&D is an advantage.
• Proficient in English.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Willing to work in IE Bangpoo, Samut Prakan.
