About the role

As the Planning Team Leader (Material Planning) at Celestica (Thailand) Ltd. in Laem Chabang, Chonburi, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the material planning process for this full-time position. Your expertise in production, logistics, and scheduling will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and the efficient operation of the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of material planners to coordinate the supply of raw materials, components, and finished goods
• Develop and implement material planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize production delays
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to align material requirements with production schedules
• Analyze demand forecasts, production plans, and inventory data to identify and resolve potential supply chain issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to material planning and inventory management
• Provide training and mentorship to your team, fostering their professional development and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a material planning or production planning role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of material planning principles, inventory management, and production scheduling
• Proficient in using SAP or ERP systems and data analysis tools to support decision-making
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve supply chain challenges
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
