Mechanical Engineer (Rotating & Package)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer (Rotating & Package) to join our team at China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in Bangkok. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of rotating equipment and packaged systems within our company.

What you'll be doing

• Execute mechanical designs for FEED, detailed design, and EPC projects

• Work on rotating and package equipment, material handling systems for refineries, chemical, petrochemical, and power plants

• Prepare mechanical datasheets, specifications, requisitions, and technical bid evaluations

• Review vendor documents and interdisciplinary documents such as PFDs and P&IDs

• Ensure designs comply with international codes and standards including API, ASTM, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, ISO, NACE, BS, etc.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

• Previous experience in mechanical design in oil & gas or petrochemical projects

• Knowledgeable in local and international engineering standards and codes

• Good command of English

• Experience with consulting firms is a plus

• Engineer License is an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and design/engineering software such as Navisworks

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with various teams

• Willingness to travel upcountry or overseas when required

• Ability to perform under pressure
