Our client is a leading global food manufacturer recognized for its iconic snack brands is looking for a Material Scheduler, this role is a key link between Procurement, Production, and Warehouse teams, coordinating inbound material flow and minimizing supply disruptions. This role will help the company to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and packaging components to support the production schedule.
Responsibilities
• Schedule and coordinate the delivery of raw materials and packaging in line with the production plan
• Monitor inventory levels and place replenishment orders to prevent material shortages or excess stock
• Use SAP (MM/PP modules) to manage material requirements planning (MRP), purchase requisitions, and inventory transactions
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production Planning, and Warehouse teams to align on delivery schedules and material availability
• Communicate proactively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery issues and adjust plans as needed
• Track and analyze material usage, waste, and variances to support continuous improvement and cost control
• Ensure accurate data in the SAP system including lead times, safety stock, and planning parameters
• Participate in daily and weekly meetings to provide updates on material status and risk mitigation
• Support new product launches and trials by coordinating availability of trial materials and components
• Maintain compliance with food safety, traceability, and audit standards related to raw material handling
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in material planning/scheduling in a food production or FMCG environment
• Strong experience using SAP (especially MM and PP modules) for materials planning and inventory control
• Familiarity with MRP processes, lead time management, and supply chain coordination
• Understanding of food manufacturing requirements, including traceability, shelf life, and hygiene standards
• Proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under time pressure
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in both Thai and English, required for working in a multinational environment
• Experience with supplier collaboration and logistics coordination is an advantage
