Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in the Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrument Engineering, or a related technical engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in plant maintenance function in chemical / petrochemical industry or related industry.
- CMMS – SAP plant maintenance module and material management module
- Basic knowledge & troubleshooting of electric panel, power distribution panel, switch yards, ACB, VCB, MCC/PCC Protection relays, Lighting & earthing system, HT/LT Transformers, Motors, DC/AC system, VFDs, UPS systems, understanding of electrical drawings, hazard of electrical system and chemical process plant, SOPs, etc.
- Knowledge of rotating and static equipment of chemical / petrochemical plant
About the role:
Responsible for the plant maintenance work planning, scheduling and execution for both corrective and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, process control system, analyzer, inspection and project work. Including store management to ensure spare part is sufficient for maintenance work.
Job Description:
- Maintenance work planning, scheduling, and execution
- Conduct a work planning for corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance by do a job scoping to plan resources including internal manpower, external manpower, vendor, contractor, spare part, external material required and do a cost estimation and propose to manager to review and approve before proceeding further planning step.
- Develop maintenance plan, task list, maintenance item in SAP up on request from other engineering disciplines.
- Conduct a work scheduling after planning those work with reviewing of backlog and coordinate with Production team to do finite scheduling process to identify time slot to execute those work.
- Track the progress of maintenance work and adjust plans as necessary to accommodate unexpected breakdowns or production changes.
- Run Maintenance Excellence program within his team and by his peers.
- Capacity utilization on maintenance crew is up to 80%
- Maintenance work schedule compliance for both corrective and preventive maintenance is up to 95%
- Work backlog management.
- Maintain master data of functional location, equipment, spare part, task list, maintenance plan and maintenance item to up to date.
- Plan maintenance budget for each production unit in accordance with company objective
- Maintain and develop maintenance operation in effective way of safety, cost and reliability.
- Prioritize and develop a coordinated plan on how to approach and phase competing maintenance projects according to budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate and work with production, procurement, accounting, and logistics to ensure the department has the right resources on time to carry out its mission.
- Analyze maintenance cost for improvement.
2. Spare part management
- Manage and control mechanical spare parts with right quality, optimum cost, accuracy to ensure the availability for maintenance.
- Establish plan for inventory check, monitor and analyze for stock movement.
- Coordinate and work with cross functional groups to achieve spare part management effectively, procurement, accounting, relevant engineering disciplines (Mech, E&I, PCS, Reliability, Project.
