Job Description
Responsibilities
- Review, draft and negotiate all agreements and legal documents in connection with the businesses of the Company and Group Company.
- Prepare pleadings which related to litigation, assist in dispute resolution, fraud cases, legal notice and internal and external investigations related to business operations.
- Maintain complex docket systems to track the myriad contracts/agreements deadlines or which reach the period.
- Provide legal counsel, strategic guidance and support to various business units including subsidiary company.
- Provide guidance and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations applicable to the businesses of the Company and Group Company.
- Handle corporate matters e.g. registration for corporate documents with related authorities, book of shareholders' registration, share certificates.
- Handle PDPA matters with related business units.
- Assist in compliance program.
- Prepare and apply for licenses with related authorities in terms of new businesses.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Able to travel upcountry.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Law.
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experiences at a law firm and/or in-house.
- Posse Lawyer’s license.
- Proficiency in English language both writing and speaking.
- Pleasant personality with service-minded attitude and strong team player.
- Posse good judgment, logical, ability to work multi-tasks and to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
- Problem solving and analysis.
- Able to travel upcountry.
