Kensington Learning Space (KLS) Position: Lead Mandarin Educator We seek a fully qualified, experienced and inspirational Mandarin teacher who is an energetic, highly inspired and motivated person. Someone who is passionate about childcare and education and is committed to achieving the best outcomes for all students by creating a stimulating, positive and child-centered ethos. The position is for full-time only. Requirements: Fluent Mandarin speaker Fluent English speaker Excellent knowledge of the EYFS BEd Early years (Hons) or equivalent Early years and Primary experience Attributes: It is essential the candidate is an individual who is flexible, creative and self- motivated in learning about and implementing different approaches. As a forward thinking education centre we expect our staff to be adaptable. Job Role: The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a variety of areas with the space and would be expected to work collaboratively with our KLS team in leading forward thinking education for all our students in number of areas: - Lead multidisciplinary lessons focused on language and communication, and art and Forest School. - Create and organize engaging play group sessions for our youngest students - Show confidence and build relationships with parents - Develop lessons for our Forest School outdoor learning environment - Be part of new and exciting curriculum projects. Working hours: Must be available Saturdays As KLS aims to complement other forms of education we have created our working hours based on this. Our centre will run sessions during the day for our youngest students and after school for our older students. Classes will also run on a Saturday. Our innovative learning will occur on a 2 term cycle. Our KLS working calendar can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. Working days is 5 days per week (Tue-Sat) Remuneration: The successful candidate will receive competitive salary and benefits based on their experience and qualifications. This will include: ● Competitive salary ( THB 35,000 - THB 45,000) dependent on experience and qualification ● Free Lunch provided during working days ● Medical insurance ● December bonus (pro-rata) ● 7 weeks paid holiday + 2 weeks annual leave (in line with term calendar) ● Ongoing professional development.
