BASF Care Chemicals (EMI) is seeking for the qualified candidate to fill the vacant position in Thailand as follows:

Lab Assistant Staff (12 months contract)

Main responsibilities

• Under guidance of supervisor, develops hypotheses, plans and executes effective experiments generates reproducible data.
• Contribution in responsible area: testing, blending and improving EMU products in the lab on sales, marketing and customer requests including being familiar with all lab equipment and able to judge on wrong or correct results from own measurements/ analysis/ applications.
• Able to handle multiple projects and adjust to changing priorities.
• Utilizes current technical knowledge to accomplish tasks on assigned projects.
• Maintain the workplace and working environment that support work safety and efficient production activities according to plant safety regulations as well as Company EHS guideline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry/industrial & applied chemistry/physical chemistry or related fields.
• Minimum 1 – 3 years experiences in laboratory or relevant working experience.
• Ability to quickly understand customers and translate into lab work, team working, effective communication and collaboration skills under the multicultural environments.
• Know- how of Agrochemical formulations, hands on experience on various test methods and lab equipment used in preparation of emulsions/ solutions/ dispersions for Agrochemical applications is a PLUS.
• Good communication skills for English.
