This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world’s largest packaging equipment manufacturer and automation companies that automates the packaging processes for the world’s most famous brands. The company has more than 90 years of history and is spanned all over the world with its headquarter in North America. Business wise, it designs and automates a complete packaging line ranging from small-scale production (e.g., stretch wrappers) to large-scale production (e.g., peat moss field equipment). The company is consistently growing and to support this, they are looking for an experienced HR professional to take on a new reginal role to support their SE Asia & Oceania operations

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER 
BAGNA - MACHINERY MANUFACTURING                                                      UP TO 120K/MONTH ++

The position will report directly expatriate Vice President of Asia based in Thailand and act as  ]HR point of contact for all HR Operations for our client's manufacturing operations in Thailand. This will involve the following main responsibilities:

• Act as the SE Asia and Oceania HR Representative for our clients operations

• Manage human resources from payroll, onboarding to offboarding, including learning & development, career guidance and staff welfare

• Build and shape our company culture, including all HR policies, company activities, and people development

• Along with divisional global HR Business Partners, drive partnership with Business Divisions

• Design and agree on HR plans which are aligned with business performance drivers and are measurable in terms of cost and quality effectiveness

• Ensure HR services, policies and processes are aligned according to business needs

• Ensure HR transparency to business for effective decision making through customized HR KPI • scorecards

• Align local HR Strategies & Initiatives with global Strategic Priorities

• Act as the highest escalation point for country / regional HR issues

• Act as a role model for the HR function as a whole and drive and support standardization of processes / systems in HR

Qualification Required:

• Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Social Science, Business Management, HRM, HRD, Organizational Development or related fields

• At least 8+ years working experience in Human Resource development and HR Operations gained in a multi-national organization.

• Strong background and knowledge of HR Operations law and processes is essential.

• Previous regional responsibilities are required.

• Knowledge of learning & development design of employee capability development (including design, technology, delivery and assessment)

• Ability to handle various needs of internal customers from all management levels

• Ability to create ownership and employees’ commitment in self-development

• Able to make decisions while completing a project and routine work or each assignment (i.e. vendor selection)

• Possess strategic thinking and project management skill

• Good consulting, coordinating and analytical skills

• Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills
