HSE Manager

As our Health, Safety & Environment Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining HSE systems, policies, and procedures that align with Mars Corporate standards, community expectations, and government regulations. Your leadership will drive a culture of zero incidents and continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.

What You’ll Do

As our HSE Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Shaping the Site’s HSE Vision – Lead the development and execution of a strong safety culture and drive compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Providing Functional Leadership – Develop and guide the local HSE team while influencing site management on best practices.
• Ensuring Compliance & Risk Management – Implement and maintain site HSE procedures in line with corporate and local requirements, ensuring a proactive risk management approach.
• Incident Management & Prevention – Lead investigations, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
• Data-Driven Decision-Making – Use HSE data to influence, measure, and drive continuous improvement while effectively communicating performance.
• Collaboration & Security Management – Work closely with Occupational Health and Wellness teams, oversee site security, and manage asset conservation and property loss control measures.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 10+ years in safety management, with expertise in OHSAS 18001, security management, and occupational health management.
• Strong leadership, risk management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Action-oriented, skilled at conflict management, and effective at influencing stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related fields.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in managing and developing teams (team size: 3-5).
