BimBi Italiani is a global non-profit organization promoting Italian language, traditions, and heritage amongst: a. Italian children, teenagers, young adults and families living abroad; and b. non-Italian with a love and curiosity for Italy. Bimbi Italiani connects Italy with the world promoting cultural interconnectedness and exchange. Objective and design process We are looking to create a new logo for BimBi Italiani that reflects the organization's mission, vision, and identity. The goal is to: ● Align the visual identity with our target audience and international reach. ● Represent our core values: Creativity, Connection, Italian Identity. ● Ensure scalability across various communication materials—from educational content for children to institutional presentations. ● Define a suitable future use for the child mascot “Mario.” We are looking for a designer that can deliver three logo proposals to submit for an external audience voting process. We are not looking for just three static logo options. We request a collaborative, interactive process between the designer (design team) and BimBi Italiani. We expect to: ● Receive initial proposals (sketches or concepts) ● Provide structured feedback ● Work together through rounds of refinements ● Finalize three logo proposals to submit for an external voting process Deliverables: Three logo proposals to submit for an external voting process ● Full-color version ● Monochrome version ● Color palette and fonts used ● Brief concept note description explaining rationale and symbolism ● Final editable files (AI, SVG, PNG, PDF) ● One pager logo brand guide/e-book covering: Typography, Colors (Pantone, HEX, RGB), Spacing and placement, Use cases and visual mockups ● Additional: recommendation on how to use and place without our branding identity our current branding mascot (Mario) placement. TIMELINE: 10 Days What We’re Looking For We are looking for a Graphic designer to create a new logo for BimBi Italiani that professionally, modernly, and flexibly represents our global, educational, and cultural identity, with the following qualities: ● Proven experience in developing visual identities for organizations in the educational, cultural, or social sectors ● Ability to design for diverse target groups, including children, families, and institutional partners ● Strong graphic and typographic sensitivity, combined with a clear understanding of visual communication strategy ● Solid grasp of international branding principles, with a flexible and inclusive design approach ● A collaborative mindset and openness to creative dialogue throughout the development process Application Submission: Please send your: ● CV and Resume ● Portfolio showcasing relevant design work - with a focus on branding and logo. ● Project and financial proposal.
