General Manager - Solar Business (Urgent)

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees all operations of the Energy & Power plant business
• Identifies new opportunities and investors to support business expansion and operations goals positively
• Directs and coordinates manufacturing activities based on policies, objectives and programs spanning manufacturing functions
• Develops policies and procedures related to the plant management and all related power plant projects
• Identifies prospective projects with suitable solar resource, electric transmission access, and site characteristics
• Develops project strategy, project scope, schedules, resources, budgets, quality and change controls.
• Creates and manages project development budgets and estimates and assures accuracy of financial forecasts with tie-in to project schedules.
• Manages all elements of solar sales process and aftersales service to solar projects.
• Plans, directs and coordinates activities of solar projects to ensure that goals/objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and budget parameters
• Research energy market and competition on an ongoing basis, and provides a suggestion and recommendation to top management
• Establishes and manages relationships with stakeholders such as customers, shareholders, suppliers, and other related entities
• Engages in contract and legal negotiations, incident investigations, safety training, and project assessments
• Provides ongoing customer service, production monitoring, and coordinates maintenance of solar equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master's in engineering
• Minimum of 12 years' experience in Maintenance Engineering from a Power generation industry Renewable energy, Solar Plant, Wind Energy, Biomass is highly desirable
• Strong track record in managing technical and financial asset operation
• Demonstrated successful leadership and large project execution experience.
• Fluent in English
