Farm Manager

Position Summary:  

To manage overall production of a hatchery unit to ensure that the numbers produced meet the production target and cost target.


Job Responsibilities:
 

• Production planning and forecast.
• Work schedule and plan for staff.
• Coaching and training staff.
• Monitor, evaluate, manage and develop staff performance.
• Liaise with sales and distribution to ensure optimum production capacity such as meet customer’s order and not over produced/stocked.
• Liaise with operation team to ensure that the production runs smoothly and ensure the quality and cost target is achieved in terms of the feed materials.
• Solve critical problems and make critical decisions related to the production.

Qualifications:
 

• Thai National
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marine Science, Aquaculture, Biology, Veterinary or related field
• Proficient in English communication both spoken and written.
• Good command of Computer literacy.
• Good planning, numeracy and negotiation skills. Good interpersonal coordination skills.
• High responsibility, proactive, positive attitude, energetic and service-minded.
• Flexibility to travel.
• More than 8 years of experience in Shrimp farming under corporate structure and culture with at least 3 years in supervisory or managerial level. 

This position is based in Phuket Province.
