Electrical Engineer, Greenfield Oil & Gas Construction

Our client is an E&P in oil and gas, they are looking for an "Electrical Engineer" to join the Green Field project: 

Position:                    Electrical Engineer 

Type of hiring:           Contract 1 year (Possible renewable)

Location:                   Bangkok and the assignment location ( Thailand areas)

Job Description: 

• Ability to design, review, and develop electrical documents such as SLD, power generation, power system analysis, motor drive, switchgear, and distribution sizing, cable sizing, load list, lighting and earthing layout, power layout, interconnection diagram, etc.

• Be able to select explosive-protected equipment as per hazardous area classification

• Be able to prepare and review technical clarifications and technical bid evaluation

• Experienced in Power Generators purchase, vendor data review, and FAT / SAT.

• Be able to prepare the material take off.

• Be able to prepare the scope of work for Engineering, procurement, construction, installation,n and commissioning (EPCIC).

• Be able to provide technical / engineering support during the fabrication and construction phases of the projects.

• Having experience in pre-commissioning of Electrical Equipment including Power Generators.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.

• Have at least 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including a minimum of 5 years direct experience as an Electrical engineer and 2 years as a lead engineer in offshore engineering

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar design software

• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards relevant to the oil and gas sector

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Familiarity with safety standards and practices specific to hazardous environments
