EHS Technician & Coordinator

The EHS Technician & Coordinator is responsible for handle and coordinate for EHS document control center and provide supports related safety project and execute  work requiring  safety technical knowledge  and skills to  ensure company safe in operations, maintenances activities. Prime role and responsibilities shall include:

· Review work permit and JSA to ensure that the work covered by a work permit to be executed in a safe and controlled manner.

· Assist in accident/Incident investigation, reporting and monitor their follow up in accordance to safety procedures

· Provide the Safety report to the related official as the law required and coordinate with government office.

· Control contractor and monitor Inspect/patrol in plant area and building to ensure that all at-risk behaviors and unsafe conditions are reported to concerned persons for taking corrective/preventive action.

· Provide inventory, Inspect and maintain safety equipment to ensure that is ready for use.

· Support company to perform a risk assessment in all activities for safe work practice

· Register, report  waste of plant in correctly and timely manner as well as in compliance with law and regulation.

· Audit or inspect to be ensure correctness of waste disposal in compliance with law/regulation.

· Monitor waste bin and waste storage area to ensure that all waste segregate in accordance with procedure.

· Gather domestic waste transport information to ensure that all waste transport are recorded.

· Execute document controlling & filing system of Environment Health and Safety Management System to ensure its accuracy, timely completion, easy accessibility and accordance with requirement.

· Prepare new and up-to-date Environment & Health and Safety Management System and Regulatory compliance.

· Coordinate with internal or external parties to facilitating audit of EHS system to ensure that related activities are arranged efficiently.

· Coordinate with internal parties for facilitate the related the other HSE system.

· Provide safety training to ensure that employee, contractor and supplier understand the safety and environmental regulations.

· Follow up the EHS training plan, Participation, monitoring effective of EHS training program.

· Monitor and calibrate all safety materials and PPE stock and prepare order to ensure that is available at all times.

· Monitor and manage First Aid Kit or medical supply to ensure that is available at all times.

Qualifications

· Bachelor Degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial management,  Mechanical Engineering or related field.

· Hold safety officer license.

· Familiar with ISO 45001,ISO 14001,and food safety(FSSC,GMP, HACCP, Halal, Kosher and BRC), Energy Conservation program.

· Good understanding safety standards, Thai EHS laws relating to construction and plant operations.

· Minimum of 5 years of experiences in plant safety & environment in a similar type of chemical or bio-chemical process industry.

· Concrete experience in related EHS standard. ( International and Thailand standard ).

· Good presentation and communication skill.

· Good command of both written and spoken English.

· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem solving capabilities, team player.
