Crane, Helper (Deck Crew) - Offshore

The Deck Crew is responsible for facilitating all deck operations, including the safe transfer and management of goods, materials, and personnel to and from the platform. This encompasses space management, deck maintenance, basic equipment upkeep, and the provision of catering and accommodation services to offshore personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the replacement of lifting wires, shackles, and related gear, ensuring safe and correct installation.

• Conduct job planning, inspect tools and equipment, and ensure proper usage for rigging activities.

• Coordinate daily crew boat transportation for cargo and personnel with the Radio Operator, resolving any pending backlogs.

• Fulfill Helideck Crew Member duties to support the Helicopter Landing Officer (HLA position).

• Perform swing rope inspections and replacements according to the preventative maintenance program and condition assessments.

• Act as a Stretcher Team member to assist the Medic during emergencies.

• Immediately report any faults, hazards, or unsafe conditions to the direct supervisor for prompt corrective action.

• Implement stop work authority upon observing unsafe acts or working conditions.

• Assist the HLO in helicopter and helideck operations, as well as vessel activities.

• Collaborate with the Crane Operator in the safe loading and unloading of cargo, materials, and personnel.

• Clear deck space for offloading and distribute goods and materials to designated users.

• Maintain a clean and orderly deck environment at all times.

• Perform basic first-line maintenance on deck machinery.

• Facilitate safe passenger transfers for crew boat and helicopter operations, ensuring secure embarkation and disembarkation.

• Under supervision, perform helicopter refueling and manage the transfer of fuel and water from vessels to support production, ensuring accurate volumes as required.

• Perform assigned administrative tasks.

• Adhere to and promote the Company’s SSHE policies, rules, and regulations in all work activities.

• Fulfill assigned emergency response roles as outlined in the Site’s Emergency Response Plan.

• Operate the crane for loading and unloading, adhering to specified lifting procedures and SSHE rules, and track material movement to ensure correct placement.

Qualification :

• Secondary School Certificate.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in crane operations.

• Working in similar position or offshore experience is an advantage.

• Capable to speak Thai Language fluently.

• Fair communication, written and spoken English is an advantage.

• Crane driver certificate is mandatory
