Could you be the full-time Industrial Engineering Manager in our dynamic Depot we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.

You'll be instrumental in industrializing maintenance processes to secure the production deliverables of the project. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Quality Control, Safety, and Operations), setting up industrial process improvements related to efficiency, quality, safety, ergonomics, environmental health and safety (EHS), and continuous improvement, among other areas.

You’ll specifically take care of ensuring Railway Safety and EHS, as well as AZDP standards are respected, while monitoring industrial times and performance to ensure Industrial efficiency.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Delivering significant improvements to Services platforms and identifying core opportunities for deploying Alstom Fleet management systems
  • Identifying internal CAPEX needs and participating in Make or Buy analyses to enhance project cost-efficiency
  • Determining internal training requirements and contributing to the development and implementation of training programs
  • Ensuring the proper execution of industrial strategies in operations
  • Guaranteeing the consistency of all Industrialization functions for projects, including tooling, industrial data, and methods
  • Providing technical support to operations and managing the industrial data team
  • Deploying and ensuring compliance with central standards and giving feedback to the industrial network to refine standards
  • Managing KPIs for industrial performance and contributing to continuous improvement in SQCD (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery)
  • Leading and developing industrial teams to fulfill project industrial requirements and deliver the industrial QCD budget

  • A graduate engineering background with 5 years’ experience in the railway industry or a technical background with 8-10 years’ experience in the railway industry
  • Ideally, experience within an international organization
  • 10-15 years’ experience in relevant roles within the lean manufacturing industry
  • Good knowledge of industrialization tools, methods, and techniques
  • Proficiency with Total Quality Management, Safety and Environmental systems, ISO, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma tools and processes
  • IT literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with process systems and digital tools such as MMIS (ERP), execution systems, and integration systems
  • Fluency in the local country language and English
  • Strong leadership skills and a team player mentality with a spirit of “Team Trust Action”
  • The ability to make decisions and delegate when appropriate, with a logical and organized approach to tasks
