Construction Manager – Workplace & Corporate Office

About the role

Savills (Thailand) Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team in Bangkok. As a Construction Manager - Workplace & Corporate Office, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality construction projects for our commercial clients. This is a full-time position based in our Bang Rak office in Bangkok.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of construction projects, from planning and design through to final completion
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the expected standard
• Oversee the procurement of materials and services, and manage subcontractors effectively
• Identify and mitigate risks, and implement appropriate control measures
• Monitor and report on project progress, providing updates to the wider team
• Ensure projects comply with all relevant building regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, and mentor more junior members

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Construction Manager, preferably in the commercial/corporate office sector
• Proven track record of delivering successful construction projects, on time and within budget
• Excellent understanding of construction processes, materials, and building regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Proficient in project management tools and software
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, are a must
