Responsibilities:

Concierges are essentially personal assistants for guests or residents, typically in hospitality settings like hotels, resorts, or high-end Condominium buildings. Their duties revolve around making guests' stays or residents' lives as comfortable and convenient as possible. Here's a breakdown of typical concierge job descriptions:

  • Guest/Resident Greeting and Orientation: Concierges warmly welcome new arrivals, answer questions about the facilities and amenities, and acquaint them with the surrounding area.
  • Information Hub: They act as a central source of information, providing recommendations on local attractions, restaurants, shopping, entertainment options, and transportation services.
  • Reservation and Ticketing: They can make reservations for restaurants, shows, tours, or other events, and help guests or residents obtain tickets.
  • Errand Services: Concierges might run errands for guests, such as arranging for dry cleaning, grocery delivery, or ticket pick-up.
  • Problem-solving: They anticipate and address guest or resident concerns, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. This could involve handling complaints, coordinating with other departments to resolve issues, or simply offering helpful solutions.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Concierges might arrange travel logistics like car rentals, airport transfers, or luggage storage.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Concierges need to be friendly, approachable, and have strong communication skills to build rapport with guests/residents and effectively convey information.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 Years in Hotel Management / Services or background in other area is also welcome.
  • Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management or related field
  • Good English literacy and communications skills
  • Willing to learn and hard working
  • Can work in Roster/Shift
