Business Development Officer (Chinese Required)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Officer (Chinese Required) to join our team at China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau (Thailand) Co., Ltd.' in Bangkok. You will play a key part in supporting our business expansion through customer and project data management, cross-functional coordination, and strategic business development initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system (company, contact details, job titles, etc.)

• Record communications with clients including meetings and follow-ups

• Monitor and regularly update the progress of ongoing projects

• Research, collect, and analyze information on potential projects and business opportunities

• Coordinate project updates and details across internal departments

• Support the contract management process, including reviewing key terms and ensuring legal compliance

• Handle registration and logistics for participation in industry exhibitions

• Prepare marketing materials such as brochures, banners, and giveaways

• Follow up with potential leads after events or client visits

• Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports, including project summaries and market analysis

• Provide insights and recommendations for strategy development

• Compile year-end reports highlighting performance, achievements, and areas for improvement

• Organize and maintain records of business activities, contracts, and customer data

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field

• Proficiency in both Chinese and English (spoken, written, and reading) is required

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Experience in a similar role or in the oil & gas/energy sector is a plus
