Assistant Unit Head - Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise business analysis projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards.

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, QA, and external vendors to ensure clear and continuous communication.

• Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of requirements gathering, solution design, documentation, and validation processes.

• Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that developed solutions are in line with business requirements and are user-ready.

• Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to junior business analysts, fostering professional growth and a high-performing team environment.

• Support post-implementation efforts including issue resolution, end-user training, and the creation of clear and concise documentation.

• Monitor industry trends and recommend tools, methodologies, and best practices to improve the business analysis function.

• Perform other related duties and special assignments as requested by the Head of Business Analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

• Experience working with cross-functional teams including IT, QA, product owners, and vendors.

• Proficient in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and solution validation.

• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
